How a Latex Mattress is Built
A typical construction, layer by layer, from the surface down to the support core. Select a layer to see the matching product.

Layer 1
Cover
A fabric cover encloses the layers beneath and is supplied by the mattress manufacturer, not by us.
Layer 2
Topper
A latex topper adds a cushioning layer on top of the main construction.
Layer 3
Comfort Layer
A softer latex layer sits closest to the body for cushioning and pressure distribution.
Layer 4
Support Core
A denser latex core carries the structural load and holds the construction's shape.

Latex vs Memory Foam
A quick, factual comparison for manufacturers weighing the two materials.
| Natural Latex | Memory Foam | |
|---|---|---|
| Material Origin | Natural rubber tree sap, foamed and cured | Petroleum-based polyurethane foam |
| Feel & Response | Buoyant — compresses and springs back quickly | Viscoelastic — slowly conforms and recovers |
| Airflow | Open cell structure with pinholes for airflow | Denser structure, generally less airflow |
| Durability | Resists compression set well over years of use | Can soften or show impressions over time |
